Read Across America – March 2

March 2 is the NEA’s national Read Across America day.  This day was established to motivate children and teens (and hey, even adults!) to pick up a book and celebrate reading.  Each year it falls on March 2, the birthday of everyone’s favorite author, Dr. Seuss.

So tomorrow take the time to read with a child or set some time aside for yourself to pick up a book.  After all, “You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read with a child.” 🙂
