Library Finds! (KM Edition – Looking at Autism)

In March, I attended a lecture by Temple Grandin, professor of animal science at Colorado State University and consultant to the livestock industry on animal behavior. Dr. Grandin has autism and is a best-selling author and advocate for autism. In her lecture she said that when young people with autism approach her, she doesn’t want to know about their autism; she wants to know about their latest art project, science project, etc. These books focus on bringing out the strengths in people with autism and Asperger’s.
