This Day in History? Think Madeleine Albright

On January 23, 1997 Madeleine Albright was sworn in as the first female Secretary of State. This was quite an accomplishment and it led the way for other women to take on this role, including Condoleezza Rice and Hilary Clinton. An interesting fact for the day.
