Alice Munro!

Alice Munro, a Canadian author who has written numerous short story collections, was awarded the 2013 Nobel Prize for Literature. Munro is only the 13th woman to have won this prize so it makes it that much more of an exciting achievement.

This year Munro also announced that with the publication of her most recent collection of short stories, Dear Life, she will be retiring from writing. Fortunately, we have some of her collections here in the library if you want to check them out and get a feel for the work produced by this talented writer.
